Sauteed Garlic Mushrooms

The perfect addition to any pasta sauce 

Prep Time: 5 minutes 

Cook Time: 10 minutes 

Total Time: 15 minutes 

Serves: 4 

Ingredients 

1 pound button mushrooms 

1 tablespoon coconut aminos 

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 

1 tablespoon butter 

2 cloves garlic 

Instructions 

  1. Carefully wash the mushrooms and slice them into thick slices
  2. Add butter and oil to a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat 
  3. Once the butter is fully melted, add the mushrooms and coconut aminos. Fully coat the mushrooms, then allow to cook for 5 minutes. Do not stir. 
  4. Add the garlic and continue cooking until sauce is evaporated – about 4 minutes. Stir occasionally. 
  5. Serve with salt and pepper to taste
