Mornings can be crammed with the chaos of getting ready and out the door on time. In that chaos, breakfast can be overlooked or even skipped. But breakfast is the most important meal of the day! It gets your metabolism going and helps balance energy levels throughout the day. Having a healthy, nutritious breakfast is so important. I’ve found that making a quick green smoothie that is packed with whole ingredients helps me have a better day. Here is a recipe for my favorite green smoothie:
Ingredients
1 banana
1/4 avocado
1/4 cup water
1 cup greek yogurt – I recommend plain or vanilla
1 cup spinach
A handful of ice
Optional – some protein powder
Instructions
Simply add all ingredients to a blender and mix until creamy. Enjoy!
